"Item was fine, but the packaging wasn’t great"
Ordered from Sporting Life and the item itself was totally okay, so that’s good. But the box showed up looking rough, like one corner was crushed in and the tape was already half coming off. Nothing was missing, thankfully, and that was my main concern when I saw it. It just didn’t feel like it was packed very securely for shipping. Not a terrible experience or anything, but I was expecting the packaging to be a bit better...

"Nice look, stitching could be better"
I liked the jacket when I first put it on, it has a clean look and photographs well. That said, the stitching kind of threw me off. It’s not terrible, and maybe I’m just picky about little details, but in a few spots it felt cheaper than I expected. Still wearable, still cute, just not quite as solid-feeling as it looks at first glance.

"Solid tune-up, took a little longer than expected"
I dropped my skis off at Sporting Life for a tune-up and a quick binding check. The staff were really easy to chat with and gave me a clear idea of what they could do without making it feel like a big production.
When I got them back, the work seemed solid. The edges felt a lot better, everything looked nice and clean, and the price was roughly around what I figured it would be.
The only reason I’d say it’s more like 4 stars is that it took maybe a couple extra days past what they originally mentioned. Not a big deal overall, but I did have to check in once.

"Refund came through way faster than expected"
I returned an item and figured I’d be waiting around for ages or having to follow up with customer service, but the refund showed up much quicker than I expected and there were no annoying delays, no chasing anyone, and no weird back-and-forth, so overall I’m happy with how easy it all was.

I ordered a pair of running shoes, and a hoodie, from sportinglife, both fit pretty much exactly how I expected. I actually used the size guide, and, surprisingly, it was helpful, which isn’t always the case when shopping online. The shoes fit well, not too tight, and the hoodie was true to size too. Didn’t have to return anything, so I’m happy. Easy 5 stars from me

"Great Deals and Easy Promo Codes"
I’ve ordered from sportinglife.ca a few times now, mostly because they ALWAYS seem to have some kind of sale going on. I picked up running shoes and a jacket for way less than the regular price, which was a nice win. The promo codes were easy to apply, and the sale section is actually worth browsing instead of being full of random leftovers. Shipping was totally fine too. Overall, I’m happy and will definitely keep checking back
